The RFOX VALT metaverse is going to be an immersive, VR-enabled retail and entertainment experience.
It’s been full-steam ahead for the team, which is off to a massive head-start over Facebook and its rebranding to “Meta.” In other words, RFOX was building the VALT long before metaverse was on Zuck’s radar.
Given Facebook’s track record for being careless with our personal data, I doubt I’ll ever let my avatar step its digital foot into an overly corporate virtual space. But I won’t have to because, over time, there will be thousands of metaverses to explore.
Better yet, the VALT is due to launch its MVP next month. There’s no way a centralized megacorp can catch up if they’re starting from scratch. RFOX is hiring and has realized 75% team growth over the past several months to maintain its massive lead.
RFOX requires more than just development assistance. One aspect they’ve been aiming to improve for months on end is the marketing message. They’ve onboarded several agencies to help and also hired a new Chief Marketing Officer to get the word out.
They can let the products speak for themselves, but that’s only once people are using them. Speaking of products, these are now live:
- KOGs NFTs, from RFOX Games are now in their 3rd edition and will soon be playable in KOGs: SLAM!, the world’s 1st 100% blockchain mobile game
- RFOX Finance is a DeFi protocol operating on Binance Smart Chain and Ethereum, featuring yield farming and staking for $RFOX token and $VFOX, the reward token that entitles holders to 1% of all VALT metaverse transactions
- RFOX Media is the creator of RFOX Run, a Play-to-Eat mobile game for Burmese citizens, and is also a platform for users to monetize their self-uploaded content
That’s just the tip of the iceberg! The KOGs Mint Lab gives Bored Ape Yacht Club members the chance to earn a healthy income from minting new KOGs on the WAX blockchain.
The inaugural batch was minted last week, and 5 NFTs went up for auction, earning RFOX Games a cool $18k! Anyone with a Bored Ape can do the same, once per month.
While individuals can use their Ape KOGs for trading or use inside the Play-to-Earn KOGs: SLAM! game, RFOX Games has other ideas for the proceeds. Half of the ETH they collect every month will go towards a program that buys and burns the cheapest 2nd and 3rd edition KOGs.
The outfit gathered $9k for that purpose already, and the party is just getting started! We can expect a nice price boost once the program gathers steam. It shouldn’t take too long before other members of the BAYC learn about the chance to give their NFTs additional utility and value.
Once again, RFOX has created a win-win scenario, something they’re very good at.
