Buenos días! Today marks my 3 year anniversary of leaving the states for Mexico.

November 26, 2016

After my mother passed away (November 11, 2016) from blood cancer I had nothing left holding me in the states. I had quit my whole life to take care of my mother and my family. Left a good job, the city I was living in, etc. etc.

I had never been to Mexico! I saw the cheapest spot where my Southwest points could take me and it was Mexico City. I had never even heard of that place before but I was going! Didn't know a word of Spanish either. 🥴

Little did I know I would fall in love with the place. Called my Daddy up and told him I'm never coming back. 😂😛🙃🥴🤷🏾‍♀️🙆🏾‍♀️ I love me some Mexico City...DF...CDMX...ciudad de México!

Mexico City changed my life for the better, helped me mourn, and is one of the best decisions I've made in my life.

México is home and will always have a special place in my heart.

🇲🇽

My favorite pic of me...I'm on top of one of the pyramids located outside of Mexico City
