Chetumalito, this is the name of this "Little Market" that it's almost as ancient like Cancun.
Yesterday I went with my family for fruits and some vegetables for our home.
It had been a while since I didn't come to this place, I remember that my mom use to send me to this place when I was a kid for grocery's and vegetables, of course I use to took the "left" coins and bought some candies and of course play for a while the "maquinitas" Wich it's basically where I use to play "Street fighter" and "Mario Bross 3".
When I walk through this market, a smile comes to my when I saw the "Virgin Maria" Our beloved mother it must be always on this kind on markets, and it reminds me my childhood, when I use to come here for Candy's and some fruits for the "Posada" and see the "Novena" Wich it's basically a community prey to our Mother Maria (Virgin Maria) .
I left this place and back to the places I currently visit for groucerys, but with a huge smile on my face and now then I'm writing this to share I wonder...
What if you share with me this kind of places in your town?? and share with me an story!! that could be nice!!!

Look like , I can recognize every fruits and vegetable,even we are continents apart. Generally ,very few shop sale both grocery and vegetables. We do have designated vegetable and fruit market (no other groceries there). Costermonger also sells fruits and vegetables making it available at your doorsteps.

Wow! What a lovely experience, I'm even more excited about the fun memories because they are really great.
I am very far from having a similar experience as it has been long since I visited my childhood local market.
My mom has been selling there for a long time and I use to assist her with the business. I am well known in that market and I imagine what it will be like visiting the market and see some my mom's friends and a lot of traders that know me.
