40 people stuck in Chinti Falls; 35 missing in safe house, helicopter reached for help

Mumbai: 40 people were found trapped in Chinchoti Falls in Vasai. The rise of the water flows has increased due to the increase in the wind. 35 people are said to be standing with the help of trees and 5 are missing. A helicopter has been called to save them.
The incident took place in Vasai tehsildar and the Collector demanded a helicopter to save the people trapped in Chinchoti Falls. All of them have been informed about the release of helicopter. It is also said that it will take at least two hours to reduce the water from the waterfall.
Meanwhile, in Thane and Palghar districts, Mumbai has been receiving continuous rain since last night. The villages have lost contact in many places due to the rain. As many as 42 villages have lost contact with the Kalyan-Kasra railway route, leaving the tunnel under water.
