National Doctor's Day:1st July

1st July.Its National Doctor's day in India.
The National Doctors' Day is a day celebrated to recognize the contributions of physicians to individual lives and communities.
It may vary countrywise.It is celebrated in our Country India in 1st July that is today.

In India it is celebrated to honour the legendary physician and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal, Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy.He was born in 1st July 1882 and died on 1st July 1962.He has received highest indian civilian award BharatRatna .It was started by the Government of India in the year 1991 to mark a respect for the great physician.images (1).jpeg

It is celebrated to emphasize the value of doctors in our lives and this day is meant to pay them respect for their selfless services to the community.

Doctors are often given god like status India.It is true that some of them are doing unethical things .But maximum doctors are loyal to their service.So to encourage and cheer them Doctors day is celebrated .
