ITS NOT POSSIBLE TO TERRAFORMING THE MARS...?steemCreated with Sketch.

Hi friends,

Today I will talk about planet Mars which is also called as a Red Planet. Few years before no one have an idea to transforming the red planet Mars to build colonies their. Nobody thought terraforming Mars was going to be easy. But now, a new study in Nature Astronomy suggests that with current technology, transforming the Red Planet into place where life can servive would actually be impossible.

According to the suggestion of the scientists if human are able to release enough carbon dioxide into mars, the planet can be transformed into Earth like atmosphere. Producing abundant oxygen, warm weather, and arable land on the Red Planet has been the stuff of science fiction and it seems the idea is destined to stay fiction for now.

According to the NASA after studying the mars atmosphere "The planet lMars does not retain enough carbon dioxide that could practically be put back into the atmosphere" so that the planet can be transformed planet like earth.

By using spacecraft called MARS ATMOSPHERE AND VOLATILE EVOLUTION, NASA has now better understanding about the red planet. Mars has 96 present of carbon dioxide makes the atmosphere extremely thin and cold compared to earth, and over time, much of the Mars atmosphere will blown out into space due to solar wind realised by sun.

According NASA research on Mars atmosphere there not enough carbon dioxide left so that greenhouse warming can be put into the atmosphere and most of the CO2 gas is not accessible and could not be actually mobilized. As a result, terraforming Mars is not possible using present-day technology.

With the recent studies on Mars the scientists know that there is huge source of carbon dioxide ice present in the polar caps of the Mars and if we vaporize these sources of carbon dioxide can create double amount of pressure on the atmosphere of red planet, but all these efforts can only create atmospheric pressure of 1.2 percent that of Earth's at sea level. If with the help of new and updated technology we can be able to realise all the carbon dioxide present in every minerals from Mars this can only boost pressure to 7 percent that of Earth. But that is not enough to start heating and terraforming the planet.

According to the research conducted on Mars history the ancient atmosphere of the red planet once same as earth atmosphere which are vibrant with flowing water, but that thick air is now gone. May be in future we colonize the Red Planet but it's not going to be as easy to release the trapped carbon dioxide in the planet.

What you think friends when it is possible to colonize on Mars?
