Japan and Senegal met on Sunday evening in a surprising top match in Group H.

The two teams have won Colombia and Poland respectively in the first round, so the first place in the squad was played this Sunday in Ekaterinburg.

Senegal started best and took the lead from the start. After 11 minutes, they also got a goal out of the game as Sadio Mané got the best of luck, striking the ball.

As the first half progressed, Japan did more with, and after half an hour Takashi Inui got so well offset as he placed it in the long corner from his left-hand position.

Japan then took over the game and was also the best team after the break. This time, Senegal's trip made it clear when Moussa Wague finished off a great move from the left. 2-1 to Senegal.

However, the Japanese did not get up and, with 12 minutes, they were deservedly compensated when Keisuke Honda replaced a couple of defenses in the Senegalese defense.

There were no more scores and therefore it became a point division between Japan and Senegal, now both having four points in Group H.
