No more police address verification for Passport!

Hello Everyone,

There is an important update where Ministry of External affairs has waived off the address verification in the police report.

Now according to the new process police will neither call the applicant, nor visit the applicant house for any enquiry.

So there are two views to this, on one side it is a good news for a common men as no more harassment at the time of police verification but on the other side it may lead to a security lapse.

What do you think about this?
