Have you ever heard of an "Index card game"? I have and it's amazing. The game is called Microscope. It's a type of world building game where each person gets a turn to affect the timeline of the world and it really creates buy-in from the group.
Enter Victor Wrathmore, Captain of the U. S. S. Wrathmore. The man who crashed into a nameless planet inhabited by every fantasy race known to J. R. R. Tolkien. The crew of the U.S.S. Wrathmore brought the plague of humanity which quickly spread to every corner, and even into the hollow world inside. Victor's story is known to all. It is said that he walks the planet for all eternity destined to fly away in a space ship. Escape is impossible. Victor is doomed to crash again into the planet he called home.
Victor's story is told through ancient artifacts in the Wrathmore Memorial Museum. Inside there is a spaceship exhibit and an outer-space exhibit! Is it truly outer-space or is it the Astral Plane? Only the GM knows for sure!
I'm planning to share this adventure I made in my next few posts, and I hope you like it. It takes place inside the Wrathmore Memorial Museum. Characters should be about level 18. Pre-gens are recommended.
What kind of exhibits do you think would be inside this building? What kind of traps? (Did I mention this is built inside an mountain and over a lich's grave?)

Exhibits are always better when they occasionally eat patrons.

There is a furniture exhibit. Can you imagine how much change has been lost between 5,000 year old couch cushions? Maybe there should be a mimic toilet....
