The beta version of Microsoft Office 2019 is due in the second quarter of this year and the final version will come in the second half of 2018. Microsoft revealed that the new version of office will only run on Windows 10 or the next Long-Term Servicing version of Windows Servers.
This is an effort by Microsoft to shift users to the latest OS version. No doubt Windows 10 is already a success but this news will also help to force a large number of businesses around the world who haven’t yet upgraded to Windows 10 due to cost and compatibility issues.
As compared to previous versions, Office 2019 will come with five years of standard support. Office 2019 includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook apps, as well as server versions of Skype for Business, Exchange, and SharePoint. In the latest version, users will experience better IT manageability, voice, usability, and security.
