Low-cost Surface model
Tech giant, Microsoft expected to take the wraps off a new Surface model soon that available in reasonable price. Like Apple’s tablet, the new Microsoft surface will have adjusted corners and a 10-inch screen.
A few months back Microsoft stated, the company aiming to discharge new Surface tablet for $400 in the mid- 2018 and it’s helpful for most educators, students, and consumers who might purchase an iPad.
Avoid Intel i5 and i7 processor
It’s not any more a mystery that Microsoft will attempt to hold the cost down and to do as such, the company would avoid Intel Core i5 and i7 processor. To reduce costs, Microsoft may pick to use Intel Pentium Silver N5000 and Pentium Gold Y-series processors.
According to some reports, the reasonable setup would be a Surface using an Intel Pentium Silver N5000 processor. Slightly upgraded models might feature Intel Pentium Gold 4410Y or the Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y processors.
While, in low-end devices the OS Windows 10 runs very well and with these CPUs the device would be more than capable of web-browsing, streaming, and note-taking.
The device will have adjusted corners and a 10-inch screen. Setups may incorporate 64GB of storage and 128GB of storage. The low-cost Surface would use USB C for charging and when contrasted with the Surface Pro, it would be 20 percent lighter.
According to the latest technology news, the new Microsoft Surface will run Windows 10 and full support for Win32 apps will be offered. Details in the FCC filings propose that this Surface model will have a 24-watt power supply. According to the rumors, this new tablet will name “Surface Go” at launch. However, Microsoft has nothing to share right now.
