South of Japan in the Pacific Ocean is the US island of Guam. The Andersen Air Force Base and several other US government facilities are located there. A hacker gang named Volt Typhoon is said to have compromised US computer systems in Guam, according to a report by Microsoft and the National Security Agency (NSA).
