There is a time to consume, and a time to create.
There is a time to lay back and relax; my body thinks this should happen every time.
There is the time to ride the waves, and a time to swim against the tide.
There is a time to eat, and a time to cook.
It’s somewhat weird to discover that you can’t be creative any time you are worried.
It’s even crazier if your creativity is the key to ending your worries.
How then do you end your worries when you cannot end your worries without first ending your worries?
Maybe it is true that the best time to create isn’t when you have a lot on your mind. You need a clear head and an enabling environment, a neat bed and a scenery to inspire you. You could do with a high dose of emotions; love or hate have proven to be very good catalysts for creativity.
What you create might just be a reflection of what you are going through or what you’ve been consuming from your environment. There’s just a lot of things to take care of in order to continue function at an optimal level as a creator.
Trying to give this any thought could get your overwhelmed but you have to be in tune with reality. Isn’t it ironic that you need to be in tune with reality in other to be able to create something from your imagination?
Very true
