One of the major ways to earn free crypto for a beginner is faucet farming. So, crypto earners need microwallet to receive payments from fauceting. This is because not all faucets pays directly. Faucet farming can also be a starting point for rookies to get to know about different cryptocurrencies.
Microwallet is a service or a system used for micropayment transactions. It is a micropayment storage where small amount payments are stored before being sent to the user. This system is commonly used by crypto faucet owners because it is easier for them to send micro (small) payment to users and as a user it saves us the fees by storing up small amounts of payment then later withdraw to our personal wallets. Once the withdrawal threshold of a coin is reached, coins are either sent automatically to your linked wallet address or we manually withdraw our coins. Microwallet is a good temporary storage for small amounts of crypto coins earned from faucets. Popular working microwallet nowadays: Coinpot.co, Expresscrypto.io, Faucetpay.io, and
Microwallet.co
. These are microwallet that i'm familiar with. If you other trusted microwallets that you know feel free to drop it in the comment section so crypto users will know about it.
A faucet is a reward system in the form of websites or apps that pays in the form of satoshi, which is a nanoBTC or a hundredth of a millionth BTC. In order to claim in faucets, visitors are paid in exchange for completing a captcha or task as described by the website or app. There are also faucets that pays other cryptocurrencies like dogecoin, litecoin, bitcoincash, ripple and others. Rewards are paid at various predetermined intervals of time. Faucets usually give fractions of a bitcoin, but the amount will typically changes according to the value of bitcoin.Faucets are usually either manually, directly, and instantly paid thru microwallets such as coinpot or faucethub. When I say manually, you personally transfer your funds from your faucet account to your microwallet account or crypto wallet address. But in most cases, faucet claims are paid instantly thru microwallets.
To better understand about the different crypto faucets, I categorized them thru their payment method and sub categorized them thru their claim timers and duration of payments.
Direct Faucets
Faucets that pays directly to crypto wallet address without the need of microwallets falls under this category. From here, you can categorize direct faucets according to how long can you claim again after making your claim. Most direct faucets are claimed every after 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours and daily (24 hours). There are direct faucets that can be withdrawn after you reach minimum threshold like
freebitco.in but there are also those faucets that is instantly paid to your wallet address like
getzen.cash.
Microwallet Faucets
These are faucets that needs microwallet for payment. Microwallets have their own faucet list meaning a microwallet can only accept payment from faucets listed in their website. For example, faucetpay can only accept payouts from faucetpay faucets. These faucets can be categorized thru the name of the microwallet. Most microwallet faucets are claimed with no timer, 1 min., 2min, up to 60 minutes and it includes autofaucets. Almost all of the faucets i know are instantly paid to the microwallet.
Lastly, faucets under these categories are mostly obtained by completing shortlink and solving captchas.
