Being eaten by mosquitoes in a traditional Finnish midsummer place like a summer cottage (rented or own) carrying all your stuff there (and still forgetting half of everything that you need) and traveling in traffic thinking that you have to be there as early as possible so that you can enjoy longer the traditional midsummer rain inside a 20 square meter damp cottage, than you could if you didn't hurry, is always fun.
But then there's also this:
Pike-perch with vegetables, potatoes and nettle butter on the terrace of Saunaravintola Kuuma. (Sauna Restaurant Hot)
Tampere Underground Orchestra feat. Grateful Däd. (It's dad, but as Finns would write it if it was written like it is pronounced, but in Finnish. Got it?)
Finnish nature just a short distance from the city centre.
Amazing graffiti from artists around the world.
Stand up comedy.
A boat cruise at lake Pyhäjärvi.
I am so happy that nowadays Finland isn't closed during midsummer and that people can enjoy the peace and quiet of city centre, but not too quiet, because you don't have to stroll around the empty streets without food, coffee, ice cream, art or laughs.
Darn. Forgot to take a photo of the ice cream. Oh well, if there are no pictures of it, it didn't happen.
