@stellabelle i can see you wrote this with passion and concern for the less privilege as though you have experienced what most people are experiencing in poor African and Asia nations. I have seen most of your supports both directly and indirectly on projects that propose to empower the less advantage in our world.

I love to be on steemit all day (of course why not) but i can't just fulfill this desire due to epileptic power supply in my country Nigeria. Having access to power less than 8 hours a day and some day full darkness.

And of course there are alternative power supply like using an electricity generator but this type of power generation needs fuel to function and that's another huge bill to pay after paying out the normal electricity bill to government and power generation companies.

How can you imagine poor people paying for power they didn't use? Well it happens a lot here and so many other similar things.

But i am confidence that with the Gift Economy and change in mentality generally going on within social media and internet Eco-system, steemit and other gift economy platform could contribute well to eradicating poverty in developing nations of the earth.

And we, as early adopters of this great platform can begin the project in our little way like most people are already doing to help kick start this revolutionary movement.
