Until recently, I built up my followers VERY SLOWLY, but the followers that I did have were the best!
The reason is that the topic that I have posted about most frequently is very controversial.
A lot of people disagree with what I have to say, or they just don't care to investigate my claims.
The subject of the dangers and short-comings of vaccinations is very dear to my heart. I hate to see more lives destroyed for lack of knowledge in this area, and due to the extreme corruption surrounding it.
This picture pretty much explains my motivation to speak out. This little girl below went and gave the VaxXed Bus a big hug after she was told that all those names on the bus were people injured or killed by vaccines.
I continued posting on Steemit, and each time I slowly advanced my writing and communicating skills.
For the most part, I have been VERY IMPRESSED with how people here on Steemit have dealt with me.
I am usually open for a good debate, and the people here who have debated with me, even when they strongly disagreed, have been civil.
I respect someone who can remain civil no matter how different our conclusions may be.
There was a brief time where some of the comments were starting to get out of hand and I had one particularly awful comment made about my unvaccinated children.
It was then that I added the following to the end of each of my posts:

I know that this is a very controversial topic ...
but if you care about children as much as I care about children...
surely we can all be civil and help each other discover the best way forward for all our children and future generations.
After adding that to the end of each of my vaccine-related posts, things greatly improved again and I have had no real problems.
My approach has been to assume that the person arguing with me loves children as much as I do. I assume that they are passionate and abrasive because they really believe that what I am saying is harming children. Just like I am passionate (but not abrasive) because I believe that the lies and corruption I am trying to uncover are what is harming children and humanity.
Congratulations - that's brilliant and much deserved.
When I first discovered Steemit (last August like you) one of the first subjects I was thinking of posting about was vaccinations.
So I did a search on vaccinations and found you. You were one of the first people I started following on Steemit.
After seeing your posts, part of me breathed a sigh of relief, and I thought, it's all cool, she has got this one.
From then on I've never done any posts about vaccinations on Steemit. I do have a bunch of webpages about vaccine stuff, but have previously found vaxxers to be some of the most militant, angry, and abusive people I've ever encountered online.

I still have people I've known for years who won't speak to me because of comments I've posted previously on fakebook.( And I seldom ever look at fakebook)
Starting out on Steemit with barely any followers, I also had the thought, that talking about vaccinations would be shooting myself in the foot (and I already do that regularly anyway) - so I've watched you on Steemit with interest, and am now totally in awe of how successful you have been.
These days you are one of my biggest inspirations on Steemit, and although I'm not usually very interested in follower milestone posts - this one is different. You didn't get 1000 followers by posting mainstream feel good stuff, you did it by exposing one of the biggest scams of the past century, and I admire you greatly for achieving that!

This is so awesome! I feel like it goes to show that many more people are at the very least open to this topic then I previously knew about. I am strongly in disagreement with you on vaccines. In fact, it is one of the main reasons why i left steemit for the longest time because you and your whale friends downvoted this

My dad passed away due to liver cancer 2 months ago. It was indirectly because he caught chronic Hep B and lived with it through out his adult hood. He was born during the 1950s in singapore, which was back then very backward and underdeveloped. So no vaccines were available for Hepatitis B. If there were vaccines back then, my dad would have not been infected with Hep B.
To all parents, it does not mean that your children look fine now without any vaccinations.
It just means that virus can stay dormant in your children's body and only fully erupt when your children enter adulthood.
When the virus becomes active, it is then too late for regrets and the past will come back to hunt U for the longest time.

I am sorry to hear about your father. An early death is ALWAYS a tragedy.
I can relate to a degree, because my own father came extremely close to dying from Polyarteritis Nodosa which appears to have been caused from the Hepatitis B Vaccine itself that he received.
(It is a an auto-immune disease that attacks muscles and could have shut down his heart which is a muscle.) It is well documented in medical literature that this is related to that particular vaccine.
What I would like is for modern medicine to find solutions to terrible things like Hepatitis B, by finding solutions that do not themselves kill and maim people. My discussions here show that in many or most cases, the risks of the vaccines are greater than the benefits overall for the general population.
I have never flagged anybody for disagreeing with me on this issue (except the person who said that my children should die).
I don`t want this issue to keep you away from Steemit.
We all have our own stories and our own wounds.
It seems best for you to mute me, as I want you to enjoy your experience here on Steemit.

It is not an early death. My dad is 67 years old. Chronic Hep B is something my dad lived with it and did not know until he hit adulthood. It was with proper care and advanced liver supplementary medicine that helped to prolong his life.
If adverse effects with vaccines are something that run in your family, please a check at your genes. It might not be the vaccine.
So far I have not seen any strong references or journals in health risks assessment from you. I would also welcome a well documented report that is written by you and published here. If not, please stop spread FUD about vaccination risks and what-not. Vaccination has saved many children lives in developing and underdeveloped countries and is a fact.

If anyone looks up Dr. Andrew Moulden online and what he went through as one of THE leading Dr's and experts in this field of study, he was a personal friend of mine.
He flew to meet me one time, he had heard of me through common interests and research/connections.

I am just getting offline for my 10 pm deadline for my health but you are right.
He was awake. He woke me up and planted seeds that I never knew about until 2009 and it all came back to me, flooding in the things he taught me and told me over dinners on the East Coast.
By the time my wake up process was in full swing, I sought him out to meet and thank him..... but it was too late.
I get upset talking about this, because he was right. And people are literally PAYING to be harmed by the state daily.

Girl, it takes a serious pair of balls to stand up and stick your ground. I take my hat off to you. We have two little girls one is 7yrs and the other is 4yrs old. we experienced horrible side effects from the 6in1 and mmr vaccines with our eldest that still play an effect on her little body every day still. Our 4yr old wasn't vaxxed.. she only got the 2vaccines, polio drops and TB vaccine as these two are predominant in our country. Sadly I can say I kick myself very often for having our eldest vaccinated on the "fullest" schedule available in the private medical sector at the time I was not educated enough. Now after the damages are done I can just really encourage people having children to please research all avenues before you vaccinated your children.

Sometimes I wonder how vaccines have changed me, what I might have become with out them. But over the next couple years my partner and I will decide if we have children of our own. I have so much respect and gratitude for ppl that stand up for what is right. Of course there is no greater researcher than a mother who loves and lives for her children😍 I've been here for a short while and I've noticed too that this platform is more upbeat and constructive instead of so much hatred that you see on Fb and other sites. Hi @canadian-coconut, thanks for your post and for posting in the past with such passion and clarity. I was introduced to steemit by my brother who fully engaged with steemit a little while ago and who always seems to write with the same clarity you do. Anyway, I'm enjoying my steemit experience so far and have posted a few things close to my heart.
I do not have children and never will. It's not a possibility for us I'm afraid. Having said that, we both love children and care about them, as I believe most people in this world do. I wish we were able to have our own as I know my wife would be such an excellent mother. I'll never get to see her do so unfortunately. We have a couple of cats that fill that void though. :)
I read your posts with interest and wonder how I would feel if my children's health and wellbeing was at stake, what would I do to protect them and spread the word about possible sources of harm. I think it's admirable that you share your stories and research and am pleased the steemit community embrace your posts and that if in disagreement with you do so in a logical and respectful way. (Except that individual who disrespected your children.) I look at your 1000 followers and back at my much lower number and can only applaud you for presenting great content to your audience. I hope to emulate your success through my own posts and in presenting honest and relevant material.

This is excellent. Congrats. Also, I'm going to follow you. I have always had particular disdain for vaccines. Don't even get me started on the HPV vaccine. People do get ugly about this topic. But the truth is those damn vaccines have mercury, phormaldehyde, and additives for "preservative " purposes that are Flat out harmful. I've heard of the children developing cognitive issues after rounds of vaccines. Its despicable. Plus,i think they experiment on us with those and ive read articles (a little "out there" for most even suggestive of Tiny microchips in then. ) °_°
I think some vaccines are helpful like the malaria one. But the vast majority are not. The flu vaccine I am forced to take every year as a healthcare worker. And some studies suggesting a range of only 30 to 60% effective . I used to use the religion excuse but they don't take that one anynore.in my line of work i can not wear a mask for like 6 months my elderly patients half wouldnt be able to hear me
On that topic id be interested to see how many millenials get age related cognitive decline of alzgeimers, dementia. Im sure you know the vaccines to dementia theory and how "back in the day"the vaccines had too much mercury so now it's caused more folks to get early onset dementia/alzheimers

That is great news and you deserve the support. I like that you added in this post about civility in disagreement. All in all, Steemit does tend to have quite respectful comments, even in opposition.
I think that due to your content topics, you would have probably attracted some of the worst of it but the fact that you are still here posting tells a lot about you, your passion and commitment to what you see as important.

Hi @canadian-coconut. I'm now following you! I absolutely love your conversation posts regarding vaccinations. I'm against vaccines with my entire being. They have hurt more children than I want to count (that I know!) and are only used to hurt.
I use and a huge advocate of doTerra which has completely changed my life. I feel like a kid again, I'm healthy, I'm NOT on any western medicine . . . my life is amazing!

Next time someone tries to tell you the science on vaccines is settled, ask them what kid of science experiment can be carried out without a control group. For us to be able to tell the difference we should have people mating through generations without being vaccinated, at least one long term study. Do you know if such a study exists? What kind of science is that?!

Yes, SteemIt has been very refreshing when it comes to many people disagreeing on a topic. More often than not the debates tend to stay civil even when people get a bit emotional on a topic.

Years ago my parents told me that I had a horrible reaction to a vaccine (I believe it was the MMR). Crying, screaming, and rash. Have we ever figured out why some kids have these reactions when others don't? I've had other vaccines since then and haven't had the same effects.

Congratulations! I'm a Pharmacy graduate but I never got to practice it as a professional due to health-related reasons. Books taught us the merit of vaccination but I guess they forgot to emphasize the effects of preservatives that are added on to the vaccines. I dont get a lot of vaccines save for the for flu and pneumonia because my pulmonologist insists on them.

About voting, until you get enough steem power to get your vote slider (where you can choose % of votes) don't worry about how many times you vote. You don't have enough steem power to earn curation rewards yet anyways.
Then after you have your slider, you can adjust it to 25 % or 50% votes if you want.

I don't really know much about the topic, and I would not want to say I agree or disagree with you, since I don't feel I'm in position to say this.
However, I wanted to say it's good there are people like you in the world that really care about children, we really need more like you. I say this because I have a problem with empathy, or better said, with the lack of it, and because of that I find it hard to care about other things, like children or sick people.
But I know how important people like you are to this world, and I'm glad you and others like you exist.

Just stumbled across your page! I have lots of catching up to do. This subject is one of great concern to me and my family. As with many others it is a mixed bag of emotions. I stand on the side of we as humans have an immune system for a reason and if the body is nourished the way it should and taken care of there should be no need for vaccines. I'm starting to seriously question this too.
When I was a kid (I'm 38), you got tetanus, small pox, measles, malaria, and maybe one more depending on where you lived.
Today I look at my child's vaccine card and it is this endless list. And then they place laws on it. If she's not up to date, no school or she can't swim in a public pool (they make us bring the vaccines card with us).
And if you don't have your kid vaccinated their way, they can Force it upon them!
Here's my take. The drug industry got the laws changed to where we have to get all this stuff or fear being cut off. And then they triple of list of vaccines demanded, and then they sell it to us?

Exactly. I'm 48 and children were a ton healthier than they are today with this onslaught of vaccines that we now have. I think that I only had the tetanus, pertusssis, diptheria and polio vaccines. That was it when I was a child!
What actually happened is that in the early 90's the laws were made so that vaccine makers could never be sued. They had threatened the governments that they were going to stop making vaccines because they were losing so much money to lawsuits. So the government made it impossible to sue. And after that the vaccine makers started producing more and more and through corruption got the politicians to add most of them to the childhood schedule.
They also start adding more and more booster shots of the same vaccines. And lower the ages they are given. And get this one ... the HPV vaccine which is supposed to prevent cervical cancer, has now been added to the list to be given to young BOYS! Yup! Boys now need a vaccine for a cervix that they don't have!
They are increasing their market share any way possible.

Vaccines are something that I'm uncomfortable about. They've been given to my kids for the main childhood diseases. However, I really draw the line when it comes to the 'vaccinate your kids every winter against the flu'.
I suspect that if there's any damage, its already been done, but can you advise if there's any supplements that can lesson / flush out the toxins thats been introduced?

For some years now, i decided to speak and defend the truth, not just about the vaccines but also in other matters.
