It’s been a few months since I’ve last done a milestone post because I see very little value in them myself. Whenever someone posts one of these what more can you really say than “Congratulations on 1000 followers.” Hint-- hint. No, really, I’ll wait… still waiting…

For many reaching 1k followers meaning nothing at all as they only had to do f4f. By that I mean find someone with a long list of followers and spam follow. In anticipation of this post along with some other things, I’m working on. I made a sock puppet account. I’ve just exposed myself what a dirty cat that makes me. MEOW.
As you can see not only does he have more followers than me in a fraction of the time. He even earned his first 1k in less than 24 hours. Which makes him cooler than me. Why are people still following a dead account that has nothing but restreem spam? Beats me or well I guess they beat themselves with joy in trying to amass so many followers they can’t read their entire feed! In which case congratulations on your many congratulations posts I’m sure they have been a ball. Also, no @timecat will not follow you back he thinks very little of people who follow him. They are the followers who should be lit on fire—with joy and spam!
In my first couple of weeks of steemit, I actually did a little bit of f4f just because I wanted to make new friends and have some things to read in my feed. After around 120-130 people I stop because well my feed was the embodiment of spam. Ever since I’ve been rather selective about who I follow as I often leave them many comments thought out the week. Unless I’m just following someone to get the news or keep eye on what they do. At this point, that makes you a victim as you get many long not so dank comments. If you ever wonder where it went so wrong on steemit you now know!

I can understand why people choose to follow loads more than me. I just consider myself very blessed. More times than not when something important happens someone is kind enough to resteem it to me. This means I get to be a lazy cat and not have to gouge my eyes out reading trending. Some people just apparently need to follow 10,000, 20,000, the entire platform at once. Gosh, I hope they have enough bunk beds for all their new friends!
A few weeks back I wrote the backstory of enjar, how I came up with the name, and wtf is all this time traveling cat nonsense about. Name Challenge: Enjar, Unconfirmed Time Traveling Cat. Long story short and no joke it was in the dam intro of the blog “This has caused many to speculate what is the meaning of the universe and why is it ruled by cats.” I’m also a demi-god sorry about that devout zealots of some religions. I know this news is upsetting.
I also broke the news a couple of months back that Bitcoin was not first. Which makes you all very late to the party. Its ok billions can still be made all you got to do is f4f I’m almost certain things could work out for you. Unless some cat uses satire in which case is that just upsetting the universe that cats control it?
This brings me to point of this blog post in the first place. I know about dang time—cats. Have you completed any of your steemitresolution yet or 2018 resolutions at all? So many months have already wasted away perhaps you should get moving on that. Mine was 1k followers. I know I’m such a higher achiever! Hey, at least I finished one of mine. Instead of finishing those off here you are reading this post.
Finally for grand finally of this blog post. It getting an expected 5-10 upvotes to start with! I do love the irony of having 1k followers! I’ve been mostly organic growth other than my very early days. This account is just older than 320 days and most of my followers are dead. Almost like there some crazed serial killer cat was let loose on the blockchain.
There were only 187,609 before me. I can only assume one day's millions after me! The blockchain has also suffered over 4,700 times due to my actions—so sorry, not sorry about that. Going to need a few more body bags the swamps of Florida only hold so many.
Cheers for those that are still around after all this time. It has been an interesting adventure.
Information
I sometimes put things in this part of the blog. Today I say this blog is already almost oh could it be over 840 words. Darn cats.

Congratulations, my friend! So well deserved. You are one of the friendliest, most communicative and positive people I know on Steemit.
I am proud to be one of those 1,000 followers – and your friend! Meow! ,,^..^,,

Congratulations @enjar! I know what you mean. I did some f4f to start with but like you, I did not like the spam post I got from it. I started following people I truly like after that and as a result I have grown slower but I'm okay with that. I prefer real over spam any day. :D

Great photos like you produce take time and effort to get them to be that way. You also take them a step further by adding layer of content about them. There are some great photographers on steemit but many don’t take the time to put them into context. We all strive to want create more and further our skillsets. Which is what makes this place so great!
