any tips to build up a following when you are just starting out?

    Sure @mkultra87f, just a few quick tips.

    1. Produce good content.
    2. Engage with people by:
      a) responding to their comments
      b) commenting on other people's posts but the comments must be related to the person's content
      and no spamming.
      c) utilise Steemit Chat and discordapp. There is a lot to learn but there are many people around that have the right knowledge and are willing to help out.
    3. Stay true to yourself, write about content that you are passionate about.
    4. Use the bots to get on the hot and trending lists.
    5. Be patience and persistent, it takes time to build up followers. They need to find you and know you produce content that they like.
