Hi Everyone,

I have made it to 1000 followers. It does not seem very long ago that I was at 200 followers. I want to thank all my followers for getting behind me and my content. So far, I have had an amazing Steemit journey. Steemit has been the ideal platform for me to express myself, share my knowledge, learn from other people, and just simply have fun. I like the fact that Steemit provides great incentive to produce content.

I have used both Facebook and YouTube. I thought YouTube would be an ideal platform for me to present my content but it has been a far more difficult battle. Facebook seems like a good platform for promoting content but the censorship, restrictions, advertisements, trolls, spammers, etc. are ruining it. There is also zero monitory incentive for creating content on Facebook.

Joining and investing in Steemit is one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Special Thanks

I would like to give a special thanks to a few people that have helped me along the way on my Steemit journey.

I would like to thank my sister, Gemma aka @vegoutt-travel. She has been very supportive throughout this whole time. She helped me dig out some really cool photographs for my meme contests. She also upvotes all my posts. She has been a truly great inspiration for the vegan work and research I have done over the last 12 months.

I would like to thank @finnian for some of the great information that he provided me in my introduction post. There is so much to learn when getting started on Steemit and it is great to have people that willing to offer important information to those that are new.

I would like to thank @sweetsssj for giving me many hours of her time. She gave me many useful tips on how I could improve my content and progress on Steemit. I have adopted several of her ideas. I number posts within series. I have posts that are targeted at people less familiar with economics. These posts explain how economics is applied to our daily lives. I have also remained mostly consistent with my economics theme.

I would like to thank @thaiprincess for all the great links such as Steem Bot Tracker, Minnowhelper Technical Support, steemd.com, steemtools.com, steemreports.com, and I think a few others. I have bookmarked most of them on my computer. The information they provide is very useful. I think I use Steem Bot Tracker the most.

I would to thank @lukewearechange. I have not met him before but it was because of his mention of Steemit in one of his YouTube videos that I found out about Steemit in the first place. So he has contributed to one of the most important decisions in my life.

I would also like to thank my brother Scott. He is not on Steemit but he has contributed to some of my funniest photographs that I have used in my meme contests. I have also used his funny photographs in a few of my other posts as well. Scott may have Down Syndrome but he is still a very inspiring person.

I would like to thank @doughtaker for winning almost all my puzzle contests. He has set the bar in puzzle solving. He has even solved puzzles with minor errors in them.

I would to thank the bots that have given my content that extra boost to get me on the hot and trending lists so that people have been able to read and see my content before it gets buried. The bots I have been using the most are @buildawhale, @appreciator, @randowhale, @minnowbooster, @postpromoter, and @smartsteem.

I would like to thank @carlgnash for letting me be part of the @humanbot project. I have not contributed too much to it so far but I am on the lookout for good content from new authors whenever I can.
