Closing Up the Milk Challenge Day 7

in milk •  5 years ago

Thank you to all of you that participated in the MILK CHALLENGE

my favorite milk gif of the week.

The take away points are if you want engagement, engage...

If you want to make a casual post, make a casual post...

Some people will appreciate it and others will not and that's okay.

If you are out there making posts and making comments, people will learn your name, who you are and are more likely to be interested in what you have to say...

Make some people smile and have a bit of fun.

People have been fighting over what kind of content to support and what adds value since the beginning of Steem. It will probably go on forever. Whether your account is large or small, there it is okay to just make a post.

By the way, there was not a lot of milk on Trending, but suddenly some other posts got included with the burn posts and the potatoes.

Don't let anyone, including me, tell you what your Steem experience has to look like.

If you honestly think burning and converting SBD is the solution, you should support that.

Personally, I vote for posting, engaging, creating communities and building a social media network.

Thanks for playing along everyone, and if you enjoyed it... keep it up.

I meet several new people in the challenge.

People and activity means traffic, traffic makes everything better. When we have an active and engaged community, there is more reason to develop games and other apps, some users hold, and others will come to sell, preach, build and invest.

Well I had a lot of fun, mostly in the comments. There is enough seriousness out there in world today, and not enough fun being had by people lately. Fires, impeachment, bitter cold, brexit/no brexit, and now Corona Virus. Sometimes we just need to lighten the load with a little thoughtless laughter at it all and have some fun.

Fun I had, and there is room for all kinds of different stuff on steem always has been, Thank you for pushing your challenge and Idea to get people engaging.

Agreed. Livejournal used to be fun. And Twitter when it started.. and now it's all just a funnel that amplifies the horrible..

Hi @whatsup … I've enjoyed participating, and like you have also met and engaged with a couple/few or something like that over the last seven days.

I owe the challenge one more post to successfully complete it, so I'll be doing that shortly in order not to be chastised by the masses... forcing me to leave the blockchain with my head bowed in udder shame!!!

I'll be expecting your derriere to pump out some tasty milky morsels statum !

I shall be doing quite what you expected @skramatters ...regardless of the consequences :>)

Thanks for the challenge. I had a great time writing comments. At the same time I came up with one thing: people like it when they have some feedback and it gives them inspiration for writing other articles :-)
Thank you once again.

That's great to hear If you loved it, keep it up, I hope someone adopts the project.

I try to :-)

Been a fun one. Gives me a chance to be my usual stoopid self..

Might keep up some milder version of it with the tags (and posting what I want regardless).. but less blatant milk gifs..

Lol the smoking potato!😂🥔

I didn't milk it but I appreciate anything that serves to function as something resembling social media...

Looks like it was an energy dense sweetened condensed week of milk... Don't hate on those with only 9 toes, we must all strive to be lack toes tolerant.. Did I do it right? 🙃

I'm not sure that you 'did it right', but you did it, and now there is no going back on it. This is after-all The BLOCKCHAIN!!!!!!!!! Be thee ever so cautious, in thy treading.

Great initiative, @whatsup!

I did my part (by the way, I published a new post today) and I think the best reward is to show - and reaffirm to yourself - that you help Steemit by being yourself, writing about what you think is interesting because that's strengthens engagement and new friendships.

Thanks @whatsup for putting on this Challenge. Really had a lot of people involved which is a damn good thing :)

It was a good inspiration, and thanks! I'm taking it and going with it... as a reminder of what it is I really enjoy about being here... the community, and creating content... some serious, and some not so serious.
