Tidak Disadari, Tanggul Jalan Bisa Membunuh Mu
Mungkin tidak anda sadari saat berjalan menggunakan kendaraan bermotor, di jalan pemukiman masyarakat banyak dipasang tanggul jalan atau pita penggaduh (speed trap) di badan jalan.
Niat masyarakat tidak lain, hanya untuk memperlambat laju kendaraan. Namun sejatinya tanggul jalan sudah banyak menelan nyawa manusia dan menciderai pengendara akibat terjatuh dari atas kendaraan, khususnya kendaraan roda dua.
Sementara kendaraan roda empat sudah banyak yang rusak. seperti bodi mobil lecet, patah sumbu roda, ban meletus dan penumpang terjatuh dari atas mobil.
Selain itu, badan jalan di area tanggul akan cepat rusak. Sebab sebelum menaiki tumpukan tanggul, maka tekanan ban akan full ke badan jalan. Maka aspal jalan akan cepat pecah.
Namun di Indonesia, pemerintah maupun masyarakat banyak tidak mengerti dampak buruk atas tanggul jalan. Disetiap jalan, dengan jarak dekat sudah dipasang puluhan tanggul.
Mirisnya, tanggul tesebut tidak dicat warha putih hitam, merah putih, kuning hitam dan atau warna terang lainya. Kebanyakan tanggul dibuat berbahan semen dan pasir, sehingga warnanya sudah menyerupai badan jalan.
Karena tidak ada pembeda warna, maka disinilah pengendara sering tidak terperhatikan bahwa didepannya ada tanggul tinggi yang siap mengorbankan dirinya.
Kementrian Perhubungan sudah pernah mengeluarkan aturan tersebut. Dimana tanggul jalan boleh dipasang, yaitu diareal umum. Seperti didepan sekolah, rumah ibadah, pasar dan tempat umum lainnya.
Kemudian tinggi tanggul sekitar 11 centimeter dan tanggul boleh dipasang di jalan pemukiman dengan lebar sekitar 2 meter.
Tetapi dilihat pemasangan tanggul dikawasan pemukiman tidak ada aturan. Jalan lebar 6 meter juga dipasang tanggul.
Sementara pejabat pemerintah yang berwenang juga tidak mengerti tentang aturan yang sudah dibuat oleh kementrian perhubungan.
Maka tidak sedikit pejabat, anak pejabat maupun keluarga pejabat ini yang menjadi korban kecelakaan akibat menabrak tanggul.
Di Indonesia, dari 34 provinsi yang ada, baru satu provinsi yang sudah memiliki Peraturan Daerah (Perda) penertiban pemasangan tanggul jalan, yaitu Provinsi DKI Jakarta.
Sementara 33 provinsi lain, masih belum mengerti, entah tidak peduli dengan keberadaan tanggul tersebut.
Sehingga sepanjang jalan pemukiman masyarakat di Indonesia sudah ditunggui oleh tanggul-tanggul yang siap menerjang pengendara yang lewat.
Diharapkan, kepada pejabat pemerintah agar peka melihat kasus ini. Melalui jabatan, wewenang dan power anda, silahkan tertipkan setiap tanggul jalan yang tidak sesuai aturan.
