The word Karma is better understood as action, or your charachter. It doesn't require a great stretch of the imagination to realise that our attitude towards everything around us has a direct consequence on our lives. If you want more friends, act friendly towards people. If you want more pain in your life, 'cause more pain and it will be returned in droves.
