Simplify your life: part 1

Over the next few days I'll be writing some thoughts and ideas on how to simplify your life.

Single Task
This may go against what you've known your whole life. We're brought up in a society that values multi-tasking , or rather the concept of multi-tasking. The truth is that humans just aren't built like computers. It's been scientifically proven that we are not effective when multi-tasking, regardless of what you've been brought up to believe.

The next thing you choose to do, do only that. Pour all your focus and concentration on that one thing. Put your phone away, close your computer web browser, and focus on one task.
If you're reading this article, stick with it until the end.
If you're going for a walk, leave the music/headphones behind, and focus your senses on the sights, sounds and sensations from your environment.

Do one thing... and stick with it until you are done.
