This is one of the last pictures of my cat. He is not with me since a couple of years, but he is still my cat.

What he did NOT do:

  • Engage in worries about the future
  • Talk
  • Watch YouTube
  • Complain over trivial matters
  • Stress
  • Communicate using a smartphone

What he did do:

  • Maintain awareness of the present
  • Listen
  • Watch birds
  • Enjoy cuddling
  • Relax
  • Lovingly welcome me when I came home

What did my cat teach me about relationships?
