A Walk of Time

I am going to move more of my writing here, to this home. It's been dancing from place to place. My tears at being accused of reading the writing of another are misplaced. The words are God's, I am but a messenger.

My writing isn't usually literal in a given moment. Rather, it is based on meditation and vision. Layers of meaning are encased in each piece. I leave the interpretation to each of you. It is my art, inspired by my love of God, and it is as much for you as it is myself.

She’s been on a long walk along a path with no impression of an end.
A conclusion must be somewhere, written on the stars above.
Weariness near to overcome; Echoes of the past slide in and fill the unknown.

Her call to the Lord a wretched remnant of Amazing Grace. A plea ripped from within.
Swimming in the ponds of need; She folds into the sands of time. Wisdom ebbing in the pain;
She is lost in the array, standing adrift between beauty and decay.

Yearning ache, arms of desire, pull the Lost woman up from collapse. So, she speaks,

“I woke to find I am, but a moment. Just a moment’s pause in your memory.
Watch as I fade away; watch me go, like a shadow in the night.
Melting into the darkness until start and end are undefined.
Shaded in, there, but living as translucent memory you’re never sure you had.
The ache, now a tendril of pain flittering freely under the cool, balmy sky.
I am the girl in the music box. Still dancing, still wound, just a sight that won’t be found.
Joy in silver wrought wings. Comfort comes and tucks me in.
Pin pricks; pleasure and pain. Tracing lips and running along skin.
Visions glorious in the mind. I live there now, in the undefined.
It was nice to be a moment, along your path.”

The Messenger looked into her eyes and replied,

“you are no simple moment undefined; tis along my path you stride.
I saw you, ages ago, dancing in, as your direction fused mine.
Wearily, you descended into my arms; now, united in dimension, we align.
Find a moment when you did not belong here.
Embraced in my arms, music conducting our way, the answer is clear.”

Messengers joined hand in hand, through the bounds of time. Two pause for a moment and intertwine.
“We are the moment; it’s yours and mine. A journey, enduring, living intimately.
Traversing all dimensions and bounds, we are a moment carrying on infinitely.”
