Minds.com is now monetized with the Ethereum blockchain. Now you get off chain tokens, which can be transferred to on chain Ethereum Coins via MetaMask wallets and likely others as well. I happen to use Metamask so that was easy for me. I will show you on Steemit show notes link below how and where to check your coins.
Basically works like this: for every 1000 points on minds, that you use to get for using the platform and such to boost your posts. Now every 1000 points is a token, and those tokens are held off the blockchain, to turn them into ethereum you spend some as gas, and the rest ends up in your wallet. Welcome to the future of social media, where it pays you to use the platform just like steemit. This type of gamified system is the future.

there are lots of rip-off artists on that site, stealing artwork and posting it without attribution - but even so, what is worse, making profit off it!
That they can do that without repercussions is disgusting.
Unless they come up with a image-recognition bot that flags this shit, that site is worse than useless!

actually hon, there are no more plagarists on Minds than there are on fb and instagram. The problem is with a certain Ricky who has a public page called Vionary Arts. Despite three gentle requests to credit the artists, he keeps doing it. Martina got mad at him and he blocked her. It's totally uncool but not a problem with Minds in itself. It's really this one guy.

Don't even compare to Facebook and Instagram. They are worse than just bad - well, it is the system on Minds that is not as sophisticated as on Steemit. On here, if you are a pain in the ass you are quickly flagged into oblivion if there are many users that are offended by your behavior, and if a whale flags you, then its the end, period!
Now have a look at Bescouted: do you think anything like that could happen on there? I say: no way! Because it is a site for professionals and not for snotty-nosed kids posting from their mothers basement!
btw - he is not the only one on there. If a system is set up that does not do anything about abuse, then it will eventually fail. One rotten apple spoils the barrel, eventually.
