Hi, dear friends!
Your values are the helping hand guiding you through the hardships and adversities you may come across in your life.
By knowing your values, you will gain an understanding of what you really want out of life, while finding your sole purpose as you go along.
Some of these values are cultural or even taught to us during our childhood.
If you find yourself passionate about those same things even in your adulthood, you should live your life in a way that respects those values.
What are values? Why is it important to prioritize them as you go forward in life?
Our values have a significant impact on that voice inside our head, whispering instructions to keep everything in check and manage our time.
Our decisions cannot be made on a whim.
The fact that our choices can create potential stress in our life cannot be ignored, so it would be best to look to our values and align with them.
By identifying our values and making our decisions based on them, life will get a little easier all of the sudden.
If you are running about on autopilot and not letting your values coexist with your choices, you will be prone to sadness without even knowing why!
Let’s start with our daily life and take a look at the back corner of our closets!
How many of us repeatedly buy things we don’t need?
This is because we have made the decision that spending money wisely is simply unimportant to us.
What do we find at the end of the month? Bills compiling that need to be taken care of. This means that we still haven’t learned to prioritize our values.
So, one way or another, you will have to learn to spend this money more intentionally, and start to align your spending with your values.
Evidently, a person who has no money to invest on himself or something of value in this world and usually wastes it all is someone doomed to live a miserable life of constant need.
I know what you’re thinking; old habits die hard.
But when you decide to make small changes such as these, you will begin to feel less anxiety in other aspects of your life.
You may think that this will all be in vain, but it’s the other way around; if someone asked you to stand still and do nothing for the next 10 minutes just for the sake of having a better future, wouldn’t you consider it?
Understand that small steps lead to the biggest changes after all…!

It's all about values. Even on Steemit, we determine Success by user's SP value. It seems hard if we directly see the top. But if we see the bottom, we can start very easily.
One step at a time. It's takes time to make a habit and it takes constant efforts to make a life from it.

Things in life are more practical when we make decisions that are connected with our values, because if we do the opposite and create things that we are not satisfied with, conscience will not let us be calm.
Most of the successes that we can achieve in this life will come as a result of having done the things we always wanted to do, and this will obviously imply that our values and ways of thinking are present in the most important decisions of our day to day.

Very good advice. I very much agree that figuring out your values and aligning your life to meet them can lead to a meaningful life that is fulfilling. Living a value driven life can also help with mental health concerns like depression. For instance, it can be helpful to accept that feelings of depression are a part of you and instead of fighting them and trying to change them, the individual focuses on living a life of value. In this way a person can eventually come to see that they can both feel depressed and work towards those things that they value. A value driven life can be rich with meaning and purpose.

Hello! @chbartist, when we learn what we really need, we walk more liviando for life. So that having so many things should teach us this with love since childhood so as not to suffer so much spending on things that we never got or used.
