Hello, dear Steemians! ๐Ÿค—

Today I would like to share with you my thoughts, reflections on life.
Often, when I walk down the street, sit on a bench or in a cafe, I hear the same words. Sometimes I "sin" with these words. What am I talking about now? All, absolutely all something does not suit. People want a lot, but do nothing. Another question is WHY? Have you ever thought about it???

Iโ€™ll say my point now and hope that each of you will share your thoughts on this in the comments.

It seems to me that we are just afraid to live. We surround ourselves with generally accepted conventions and rules, driving ourselves into narrow confines. We get used to something or someone, we live in an ordinary and colorless world, although in an instant we could decorate life with all the colors of the rainbow.
And you know what the most annoying? We learned to invent excuses for our gray life.

For example, my aunt lived for 20 years with her husband. He was an alcoholic and beat her, brought homeless people into the house to drink with them and much more. He constantly insulted her. At the end of their life together, he became very fat, did not do anything around the house, they were not bound by anything. And I'm not talking about love. Aunt constantly complained, but did not change anything.
Why? You ask.
Aunt constantly find excuses. At first she was sorry for her little daughter. When my daughter grew up and began to live separately, she began to talk about stability, but she also cried. And so there are 20 more reasons. Money, apartment, life, loneliness.

Although! During these 20 years, she could have already found true love, a man who will love both her and her daughter. There could be a smile on her face for a long time. And a reliable man can help you feel loved and valuable.
And how many people justify beatings. Who does not try to realize their dreams. Because they are afraid that something will not work out or they will be convicted.

We have learned to justify our fear of change with a phrase - a hopeless situation. Although in fact from any hopeless situation there are at least two ways out.
Do you know what scares me the most ???
Worst of all, because of their fears, habits and excuses, people just began to go with the flow, to adapt, to lose themselves. But!!! To swim against the current, the fish must be strong. Even a dead fish can go with the flow ...

Failure - this is not a reason to give up, worse - to set goals that are clearly below your capabilities and be content with what you have.
Self-development, self-improvement, and most importantly, PERMANENT MOVEMENT - this is the secret of growth, both spiritual and material.

But this is my opinion, but what is the secret of your happiness?๐Ÿ˜Š

I support! It all depends on ourselves and what we do for this.
Behind the success is a lot of defeat, your aunt did not love herself in the first place and therefore she tolerated a drinker. To beat a woman is not worthy and it is considered female behavior, such a man is defective.
I feel sorry for your aunt and the domestic violence that happens to her...
Statistics show that there is a lot of domestic violence and also broken marriages also and of course this is sad.

No time to explain, develop :)Need to follow your dreams)

love the the analogy that even a dead fish can swim with the current.
I think you would resonate with the blog that I am starting, it will be exploring many similar concepts.

... what is the secret of your happiness?

Happyness has come to seem very overrated to me. It seems another catch in the dualistic world view. If one could get over being sad they will be happy. How can a supposed love for a partner sometimes turn to hate? How can two groups wanting the best for their Nation be so opposed as the political left and right? Something seems amiss with such duality to me.

This pairing of our world into shared dualistic paradigms seems balanced from the subjectivity of the ego; which itself is somewhat of an illusion. We seem trained to it from the subject-object pattern of our language filtering everything through the binary view of the ego.

Imagine how different a world would be if instead of, "I drank the water" that "The water was drunk".

Developing compassion, seeking truth, being there for my loved ones and finding some degree of contentment are my main goals. Any of them and happyness are not mutually inclusive by my way of thinking. โœŒ
