LOS DES NOS DAS!

Look deep into my eye’s.

You’re becoming sleepy…

Sleepier…

And sleepier…

Repeat after me:

I will do steps one through four the rest of my life.

LOS DES NOS DAS!

I will do steps one through four the rest of my life.

LOS DES NOS DAS!

I will do steps one through four the rest of my life.

LOS DES NOS DAS !

I will do steps one through four the rest of my life!

STEP 1: Constantly checking the scale isn’t going to change anything. First advice I can tell you is: Ditch the scale. Think of it like a basketball game. If you’re constantly focused on the score, your mood will swing. Your motivation will take highs and lows. When you’re doing good you may feel you have some room to slack, and you won’t push as hard. If you see you’re not winning, you might get discouraged and quit. What this does is take your mind from the present moment. It expends energy, good or bad. Just implement a good regiment, and pay close attention to your body. Take weekly pics. If you start to feel a bit pudgy, cut the calories back 200. This is a process, you can’t rush the process.

STEP 2: Being self-conscious will strangle your life. Breathe… Now hold your breath. You see, the moment you cling to your breath is the moment you lose it. The only way to get your breath back, is to let it go. You see by clinging to anything, you’ll lose it. Don’t cling to yourself or you’ll strangle yourself. If you’re just starting out, a beginner, skinny or overweight. Just get out there and start working out! Focus on your workout and your routine.

STEP 3: Every week add one thing you do a day that’s positive, small or big, and do it consistently for the rest of your life.

Example for me:

Working-out.
Drinking water in the morning.
STEP 4: BURN THE BOATS: When you say you’re going to do something, DO IT! Don’t find ways to back out. Just do it. - Keep in mind you already SAID you’d do steps one through four the rest of your life!

In 1519, Captain Hernán Cortés landed in Veracruz to begin his great conquest. Upon arriving, he gave the order to his men to burn the ships. He said: “If we’re going home, it’ll be with THEIR SHIPS!” Retreat was no longer an option for his men. This gave them that extra courage to fight their hardest, knowing it was the only chance they had to survive and to win, they had to leave it all on the line…
ASK YOURSELF: “What boat’s in my life do I keep retreating to?” “What boat’s are holding me back from going ALL IN?”
Don’t worry about the score. Don’t cling to your results. Always progress in a positive way each day. And Burn The F***ing Boats MATE!
