About EOS Block Producers

There is plenty of difference between Proof of Work and Proof of Stake based blockchains, and they are much deeper than simply algorithm distinction. In PoS-based networks, great attention is paid to the idea of blockchain contributors within the exact network. On the website of this project, you can find all the required information about their servers’ architecture and more importantly - mission and philosophy behind the team. GenerEOS is an Australian project, passioned in charity support. The thing is pretty simple, yet promising - GenerEOS, being EOS BP, will assure proper work and development of the network, while the reward for producing blocks will be reassigned on charity needs. The team believes that blockchain-based funding of charity projects will boost the entire sphere, improve and enlarge a number of supportive programs in the world.

Hawaii Life support and developing the network

Another great example of the philosophy behind the EOS BP Candidate is a well-known AlohaEOS. The project proposes a number of handy tools for EOS users, like Block Producer and Vote Proxy research portals, BP benchmarks, and EOS Testnets, while they are Block Producers themselves. As a purposiveness of gained reward, AlohaEOS listed two general directions - development of various tools for EOS users and support of the Hawaii Life Charitable Fund.
