مشروع هانز فليكس بدا منذ ان كان في عمر السابعة حيث قام بجمع عينات نادرة وفريدة من نوعها .
في عام 2014، أطلقت الطبعة الأولى على كيك ستارتر حيث كان المطلوب جمعة فقط 38الف دولار ولكن بفضل فكرتة الرائعة في توزيع ونشر مجموعتة من العينات النادرة فقط استطاع ان يجمع ما يقارب 1.2 مليون دولار ليحصل عشرات الآلاف من عشاق العلم والتاريخ في جميع أنحاء العالم على متاحفهم الخاصة ويمكن مشاركتها مع على الأجيال القادمة .
هانز لم يكتفي بذلك بل يعمل على استحداث العينات وجمع اكبر قدر ممكن منها حيث قام مؤخراً باطلاق النسخة الثالثة من المتاحف الصغيرة وتحتوى على :
١) صخور من الفضاء
٢) قطع من المركبات الفضائية التي سافرت عبر الكواكب .
٤) عينات من الديناصورات والحيوانات المنقرضة
٥) العديد من العينات التي يعجب بها عشاق البحث عن الاشياء النادرة .
