I was on my way to an event and while I was passing by a park, I spotted this parked bicycle casting a very long shadow.

I immediately stopped my scooter right near it.

I had two options to shoot, one was from my DSLR Camera and the other, my Cellphone Camera.

Then I calculated in my mind the approximate coverage of the lenses on both equipments.

My DSLR Camera was mounted with a 50mm prime lens (on a crop sensor) and my Mobile Camera has a wide angle view, which is about 28mm.

Since I was close to the shot and I had no further room to shoot to get these angles and also because I was in a hurry to reach the venue, I decided to shoot at 28mm wide i.e with my Cellphone Camera.

I shot this with the Black and White filter ON. Some bit of cropping was also done.

I love Bicycles, Long Shadows and Black and White Photography.

So this shot had all the ingredients.
