If you have been buying contracts from Hashflare lately since Genesis mining has been sold out your in for a shocking surprise today.

Starting tomorrow not only does the price of Script and SHA-256 prices double! but your contracts will only be for 1 year long. This currently from my math makes break even 200 days of 365 days (however that is with no current increase in difficulty) which leads me to believe there very well might be no room for profit unless the price of bitcoin sky rockets.

New prices are
The new price for 10 GH/s of SHA-256 will be $2.40, while 1 MH/s of Scrypt will now cost $11.50. The maintenance & electricity fee will remain the same.

As if that was not a big enough shocker they have also announced that any SHA-256 and Scrypt contracts activated prior to 01.09.2017 will expire on 31.08.2018 which reduces all current contracts to 1 year as well.

Too bad, no more lifetime contract from Hashflare.io

Its a bit shocking that even old contracts that where lifetime are now set for 1 year and the price is going up double. Gets me a bit worried.

You are right... me too

Has any one been affected by the recent Hashflare statement. If so, can they contact me re: class action. US citizens please too: I have spoken to a lawyer who is interested. We have them on legal grounds: [email protected].
