If you have been following my blog, I have posted several articles on the Denarius wallet and its features, I have since set up an old Dell tower with a 1060 GTX 6 GB card to investigate mining returns. I first tried to mine DNR in the hashbag.cc mining pool but couldn't figure out how to configure my .bat file, being a mining n00b. Somebody in the Denarius Gitter Lobby truned me onto the CWIGM miner and I got that bad boy configured in less than 15 minutes and have been mining DNR regularly for about two weeks. I am getting 11-12 payments a day from that mining pool without having to log into a browser, which is super nice. My 1060 card is running at about 32 MH/s and I am averaging almost 2 DNR a day with just the one card, so a serious mining rig would have much higher returns than my little tinker toy setup. You can see my returns here (ignore the tiny PoS returns, I have been playing with that feature as well but it doesn't fully kick in until block 3 million):
***Note: I have my wallet set to show my balance in milliDNR
Denarius still has a low enough hashrate than you can profitably mine with a small setup like my old Dell with one PCIE16 slot. Look at their most recent stats page for info on their stats:
I had also tried doing some Komodo mining, another coin I am interested in and had been mining some in MadMiningClub, when the pool seemed to lose all its miners. I went to their Supernet slack to find another mining pool and was directed at Komodo Mining Pool. Lo & behold, I am not the only one interested in DNR, apparently KMD miners have high regard for Denarius, which doesn't even use the same algo as they do. Look here:
I went to the Denarius lobby to check in with their crew and let them know that Komodo miners were also interested in their coin when the fellow running komodominingpool came into the slack himself and invited Denarius lead developer Carsen Klock to join their Slack to discuss being added to Komdo's new mutlicoin Agama wallet which will soon feature a BarterDex decentralized exchange. Denarius is still under $1M in market cap, so this kind of news has made me stop fooling around with trying to mine anything else on my tiny rig. For more info on how to get set up mining Denarius, you can join the Denarius Gitter Lobby here:

You can look back at my previous posts for my interview with Carsen Klock posted here exclusively on Steemit.
Happy Mining and Many Prosperous Returns!
Very interesting. This story takes me down a road I had considered but have not really investigated as you have. I used to be an LTC miner, back in the day when it replaced BTC for returns with GPU rigs. But the "better half" didn't like paying the util bill at end of month. I don't get a good rate on juice where I live in CA, so I learned a lot, and switched it off; it was too much work, and I went back to work..
New fan, followed!
PS = have u looked at the exodus wallet? what do you think?

Have glanced at it but haven't played with it. Been using Jaxx wallet for a multicoin wallet. I hear Exodus has fewer problems. Is that true?

Exodus seems to be chaos free so far; but I'm still not using it; downloaded, turned it on, looking it over for now..
But I like the idea; it should help eliminate need for exchanges and is somewhat anonymous... and holds many different blockchains. Nice features, similar to some hardware wallets too.

Indeed it is and it looks like there are bigger things ahead for them if they end up being added to Komodo's Agama wallet.
