Mining While Hiking the PCT

It's almost time for me to head out to California and start hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. While I'm hiking, my rigs will be mining away and every now and then I'll check in on them remotely with my iPhone.

Checking the overall health of each rig will be easy since I'm using Simple Mining OS. It loads and works fine in mobile Safari. I'll also be able to make adjustments to which coin I'm mining and on which pool. Overclocks can be adjusted as well and if necessary I can reboot each rig remotely.

Keeping track of mining results will be easy too. I started using the CoinDash app a couple months and I like the way it organizes pool stats. It's a quick way to see each rig's reported, current and average hashrate.

It will take me about 5 months to hike the entire PCT and I'm pretty confident I'll be able to keep tabs on my farm during that time without too much trouble. Just the way I like it.
