This is either one of the dumbest or best ideas I have ever had (only time will tell). I started using my university's computer lab to mine Monero using Minergate. I also discuss the merits of Minergte and give my unbiased review of the software.
If I use incorrect terms in trying to discuss mining, I apologize; I am still a noob. If anyone has suggestions on how I can better take advantage of this opportunity (free electricity and a lot of CPU power) please let me know :)

It would be coming from your schools own policy. I am just assuming there is a clause in their term of use policy. Especially if you are making very little from it. The juice is not worth the squeeze. Personally I would not do that!
