I've been mining crypto for over a year now, and it really is something I enjoy doing. (not so much watching them mine, but actually building them). I started out small and built my own rigs (had a budget... it is ALWAYS good to stick with your budget). Here is a picture of my first mock up of my first rig frame(fitting G-cards of different types to ensure universal fit) , I have 4 in all, but this first one is as follows:
Frame : Pine
MB tray: Pressed hardboard 1/8th"
G-card / fan tray Pressed hardboard 1/8th"
Power supply is sitting on a pin tray built in to the base frame.
Here is the final product after some tweaks and installation of the actual mining hardware:
Notice the MB tray is on a 30 angle, that is to allow the passage of warmer air from the rig below to funnel towards the middle. This design was on purpose to allow the channeling of the warm air away from the GPU. Cooling from the rear pushing the hot air along in the normal direction f travel. The rigs face each other in this way and the warm air is removed by an exhaust fan situated at the ceiling level and re-cycled. This brings in cool air from below the rigs and keeps the warm air away from the GPU stacks.
So let's see what you got folks, share away!
looks impressive too!

Thanks! it was my first attempt. The design is now refined and easier to build. If only the prices of GPU's wasn't so damn expensive, lol
