My GPU won't work into windows after I accidentally flashed it with wrong BIOS, for e.g. I used the 8GB flash on a 4GB GPU.
how did I resolve it:
- connect the monitor to motherboard display.
- in the motherboard BIOS, set the primary display to integrated display and disable 4G Decoding if enabled.
- Install the Bricked GPU on the motherboard
- boot into windows and fire up BIOS flasher.
- flash the GPU with correct BIOS and reboot.
if you didn't save the original BIOS then go here to the below link and download. Alternatively, if you have another working GPU (make sure it's exactly the same make/model/memory) then you can export the BIOS file form that and use on the bricked one.
