So I decided to give GPU mining a shot after Burstcoin was taken over by the botnet and all the attacks that started earlier this year. I sold off all my Burstcoin and 53TB worth of hard drives and bought 5 Nvidia GTX 1060 (to start off with)

Now lets get into the numbers for ROI and 5 Nvidia GTX 1060s running on nicehash.
Each card is earning around $10 a week / $50 a month
$50 a month X 5 Cards = $250 a month
Return on Investment (ROI): Each card cost $300 and below, if the rig is making $250 a month the cards will be paid off in 6 months
with the rise of bitcoin recently ROI is actually becoming lower and lower

Great article! I make about the same off my GPU at the moment. I wish I'd gone ahead and purchased 5 cards when I got my new PC. Then again, I wish I'd purchased 10,000 Bitcoin at the beginning! :D

Thanks, yeah bitcoin is on a roll! Ill probably be starting a 1080 build the end of this month, maybe ill do a build video. Oh and purchasing the last 1060 for the rig to finish it off.

I also run other things on the rig like earn.gg and Storj Share and Windows is easier just to get things running, but I do have a copy of ethOS on a thumb drive ready for the next rig.
