I was browsing the web today and i stumble upon a link that brought me to a site that explain, asus announces the release of crypto currency mining dedicated GPUs. These GPUs will lack display ports and will only be able to be used as mining hardware for anyone who are interested in mining crypto currency. These GPUs are designed to handle the high energy consumption and heat intensive process of mining. According to asus, the new cards will be better engineered to give maximum hashrate at minimum costs.

They don't seem to have hashrate compared to GTX-1060 while the price is almost the same(is the same price 1060 used to be about one month ago). Considering you can not resell it, I think GTX-1060 is better.

i do think that the GTX 1060 is a better option when it comes to mining, plus you can always resell those cards to gamers if anything happens to the cryptocurrency industry. With these new mining only gpus, you probably wont be able to do that. so it makes sense that people are opting for the gtx 1060s and 1070s but have you seen the prices on those cards lately. I went to a local used computer parts store and their prices for the high-end cards have doubled since the last time i went there. Those aren't even the ones with the box and all the documentations.
