How to prevent sites from using your computer resources to mine digital currencies

Although this system has been set up to please the user from the trouble of appearing ads, a lot of people have denounced this step and they have the right to do so.

As we all know, mining is a cumbersome process that uses a lot of computer resources and can cause hardware crashes .This is one of the disadvantages of this method of generating profits

Fortunately, there is a solution if you do not want your computer to be used as a mining platform.
Swiss programmer Rafael Keramidas has found a way to prevent this new service from working on your computer by adding a simple extension to your browser called "No Coin", which can be downloaded from this link:

This extension works in practice as an ad blocker, but only for this new tool, which prevents this service from capturing computer resources and thus preventing it from mining.
