The complaint was made by the founder of Bleemping Computer, Lawrence Abrams, who explained that many sites in cyberspace that play to cheat users through fake Adobe updates and end up being unwanted programs. However, this time the alleged update ends up downloading software that uses the computer's processing power to mine cryptocurrencies in the name of the perpetrator of the deception.
The mining program installed on the computer is named SystemProcess, it is downloaded automatically as soon as the user agrees to perform the update on the page. In this way, a file called java-player.exe makes the miner go unnoticed.

Abrams noted that, beyond the intricate scam mode, the miner installed on the CPU in a deceptive way is very easy to detect and any user with an antivirus can quickly stop the threat:
Fortunately, this particular miner is detected by a large number of security products, so if it was not protected by existing software, you can download and install Malwarebytes or Emsisoft and clean it for free.
Also, Abrams recommends to the Internet community that, in case of finding a web page that asks to update a program to follow its operation, the best decision that users can take is to close the portal online as there are high chances that It is a scam.
Deceptive mining is making more and more havoc throughout the Internet, becoming an easy and popular way to make use of other people's computers with the aim of generating profits without involving other parties. For example, Coinhive is one of the miners in JavaScript language most used for its subtlety of action. Its presence can be detected in advertisements, Chinese pornographic sites, online work sites and Pirate Bay without users notice major alterations in the computer.
