I've already covered the fact that the claim that gun violence is the leading cause of death in children is a lie. I've also covered that the mass shooting statistics are misleading -- nobody heard the words "mass shooting" in thinks of some Bloods committing a drive bye shooting against the Crips that resulted in no deaths.

Minnesota seems to be on the path to making the making the statistic about children and gun violence a reality. In this past year, the majority of people killed by firearms in Minnesota under the age of legal adulthood weren't even fifteen.

What they definitely won't tell you, because the governor of Minnesota is currently on the Democratic presidential ticket, is how many of the shooters are also around the age of fifteen.

They're unlikely to bring this up because you can't make it more illegal for a fifteen-year-old to commit a car jacking with a pistol with a glock switch. Hell, Glock switches are illegal for me, and I'm thirty-nine with a concealed carry permit and a clean record.

Cecelia Rice's son had been arrested twice for armed car jackings and shot twice by other people his age in a six month period before he turned fourteen.

What these facts are telling us is clear. Gun control isn't going to help Minnesota street crime.

If this kid managed to get arrested for armed car jackings twice in six months, it means that they're cutting the kid lose with a slap on the wrist.

I'm not saying that criminals have suddenly become legal scholars; but, it doesn't take a legal scholar to notice that your new, thirteen-year-old gang recruit committed an armed car jacking and got out of juvenile detention in a month. So, older criminals just hand the guns to the younger kids to go out and do the dirty work.

The problem is that Minnesota's largest county has a woke racist DA who won't prosecute these cases. Don't believe me? Look up the Husyan Braveheart case. It probably doesn't help that they all but legalized aiding and abetting murder. It probably doesn't help that they've made it illegal for victims to defend themselves.

This isn't a problem of the Second Amendment holding "progressive" politicians back from protecting the kids. This is a problem of bullshit policies and bullshit philosophies.
