Really simple: Why selfvote your comments when you can delegate the SP to minnowbooster and get rewards. Why power down if you can invest your steem into minnowbooster and make that money work for you (while keeping it invested in the chain).

Why delegate your steem power if you can make more money from simply using that power to upvote yourself? If whales wanted to distribute their wealth, they don't need these services to do so.
If whales are powering down, they're probably doing so to cash out and invest in other things. If they wanted to keep that wealth in the chain, they wouldn't be powering down in the first place.

Do you have any proof of these claims? What whales are actually using your service? I think you will find the answer is "not many" as opposed to "many".

My current data shows that enough are using it that is is worth it. We currently have over a million SP stopped from power down. I think that is quite a bit for how long it exists yet.
