Which comment exactly bothered you enough to leave?
It's normal to find nasty comments from time to time but here in Steemit I think that happens less than in other places online.

    Does it matter now. The damage that it caused me mentally was enough to leave this lovely platform as a poor minnow.

      Don't let people get you down! Keep your head up and follow your own rules. No reason to stop because of others. In general people are pretty chill and welcoming here. Of course there can be some rude ones in the mix, but that is no reason to give up what you are going for!
