Celebrating 11 followers in less than 24 hours!
The post is short and sweet but let's all show our support for this newbie as he looks back over his first 24 hours here on Steemit! I originally wanted to link his #introduceyourself post but it is in its 6th day so I decided to post this newer post in hopes of getting him a bit more votes! @b1b4rg7 now has 25 followers so he has gained 14 followers since putting this post out! Congrats and we can't wait to see what else you bring to Steemit.

Color Challenge/Yellow Infusing Fresh Flowers in Oil
I thought this was such an unique take on a color challenge that I had to feature it here. @kimmysomelove42 combined flowers from her garden to create a beautiful, natural oil and she even gives us all the directions so we can try it ourselves! I loved the personality infused into this post as well as the recipe. If you love flowers be sure to check out this post - and if you're a Color Challenge-lover you're going to love her entire blog. She does a very nice job incorporating the color challenge into her well written blogs.

I am really loving the Pay It Forward initiative going on here! I have yet to take part (I shamefully admit) but I hope to find the time soon. I am a huge advocate for showing and sharing the love - online and in real life. This post made me happy to see even the newbies joining in the air of gratitude! @triplef jumped in with both feet and is shaping up to be a wonderful Steemian! I missed the pay out on a great post he made on the Power of the Upvote so I hope to make up for it by featuring his latest post this week!

Hoping to find a film buddie to help me or the right camera for outside and tripod.. Gonna experiment next couple weeks.. Hi Kimmy! I'm far from a professional but have been very happy with the camera I use for videos - Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006JH8T3S/) (This isn't a referral link, I just like the camera.)
It works great outdoors and inside too. Good price too, right around $50. Software is really easy to use. I would love to see videos of what you're doing with the oils and flowers!

Thanks @donna-metcalfe I'm gonna check it out. I have a cannon elph which I tried the other day on how to bead and make earrings, but need to study the motion sensitive settings etc. so it can focus while I move...

I don't know how mine would handle close-up work like that. I think it makes micro adjustments of the focus, but not all that well, so it can be distracting. I think I had to fiddle with the focus auto-adjust to make it behave.

lol I know that struggle! but yes join @thehive (see comment above) @sparrowbernard ! That is what I have done lol because believe me sometimes I wish I had a lower rep too - people assume because your rep is high that you make a lot.. so not true.
But of course feel free to connect with anyone at NRD - help newbies with a lower rep to build their skills and drop any of your posts in the channels so we can all keep up with what you're doing!

Visited most, I think, I tried to not miss any, some very nice picks for this week. I enjoyed them. Very nice to see one of the picks was from the "Pay it Forward" contest, so I had bonus places to vote and comment, I had not gotten down very far on the Pay it Forward list yet. But one more down. I do like how you are supporting the supporters also with your picks.
