When i registered on steemit in June last year i thought it wasn't what i wanted so i ignored the account. In december 2017 a friend of mine organized a meet up in my state telling newbie about steemit. After the presentation i got to understand that steemit is not only about posting & earning but can also be a platform to impact lives. Since then have being using it to create awareness on how i have changed the lives of some underprivilaged children in my country. Doing that gives me joy that is beyond earnings.
