Yeah I never liked the idea of using an auto voter. Just seems weird to be voting on things that I have no idea about. Wow, I wonder who would say this isn't a good idea. We minnows would be forever greatful for your generosity but I suppose your confusion now would be how to go about it right?
As a minnows, I am tempted to say you should deligate some to me already but that would be very selfish of me. What about other minnows? What about others who may deserve it better than me (not like I don't deserve it myself ,but I like putting the Interest of others before mine).
My suggestion now would be that you hold a contest. Don't know if you've ever held one though but I think if you do, it would be fair to select those who you think performed excellently to delegate the steem power

Robinhood has always been a great app and now they are on fire by adding these these cryptos. I think it's healthy for the crypto market because it will create competition with Coinbase and reduce monopoly and abuse.

You could start up your own voting bot... you got more SP than @jerrybanfield and he is running a really good voting bot. I know he gets delegations to his bot too... Apparently they are not super hard to set up. Then, not only are you curating, you are also getting paid to vote (win - win). You are helping minnows... getting your curation and getting paid to provide votes! You can also set up some sort of rules for using your vote bot... so that no garbage gets your upvote. I use vote bots to help me get some followers and get seen. Think about it... it could work out very well for you.

I agree that you cannot take away the downvote mechanism but it's still not very fair to let the few control the community, maybe the whole steem system need a new algorithm on votings...

have you considered a small group of maybe 10 to 20 people working together to build each other and promote each other by resteeming a few people dedicated to a group can go a long way to spread out post especially if they are diversified in different niches. mainly the only people that see your post are people in crypto so if you have someone in the gaming niche promoting you and you promoting them you both benefit from new subs

Another strategy could be to delegate SP for a week or 2 to someone that first of all you like his content and you know he is active on steem. Then he should know how to curate people and who to vote. And after this 1 or 2 week he pays you off the curations he got from the upvotes he made. So like this you dont lose nothing, its win win situation for both. Like this also your SP can stay on bigger % and no need to upvote people o here, because this man will do it for you.

I like Manual curation, but I appreciate the support of people who have me on autovote. Anytime you have humans and money, you have politics and greed. I comment because I know you will read it mostly. I think upvotes are cool but I hate when I see 9 views and 65 upvotes. I know that means more money for me, but I know if I get more genuine views the rewards will come.
