The problem with inviting followers is that you have almost 500 people to add and they will not do that. I was thinking maybe you could offer a project to mute those who have not been active for a week or two.
Then new people do not have to add those who are muted. Many of my connections are very picky about who they add and how many for some reason. They would not add so many people to their following.

I am working on a better solution to that, meanwhile I do not want to ducktape the problem again, this clicking the followerbutton was a better solution to some to tedious clicking of my "active lists" I composed.
I am for 50% ready coming up with a better way.
